Thanh Da is one of the closest undeveloped areas to the city centre: Binh Thanh and Landmark 81 are about 10 minutes away and District 1 around 15 to 20 minutes via Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street. Thu Duc and Thao Dien are across the river, and the airport is roughly 25 to 30 minutes by car.
