Location in An Thoi

Hillside Residence overlooks Sun Group’s Sunset Town, the Kiss Bridge and the station of the Hon Thom cable car, which runs across the sea to the islands of the An Thoi archipelago. Phu Quoc International Airport is roughly 20–25 minutes by car, and the beaches of Bai Kem and Sao are close by.

Zones and apartments

  • The Hill – four towers at the highest point, with 360-degree views
  • The Sea – two towers facing the sea and the cable car station
  • The Sky – two towers with Premium Class operation
  • The Center – 364 shophouses along the Sunset Town streets

Apartments range from studios and dual-key units to 1–3 bedrooms, handed over furnished.

Amenities

  • Infinity pools and sky lounge
  • Sunset Town promenade and night shows
  • Hon Thom cable car
  • Beaches nearby
  • Shops, cafés and restaurants in the shophouse streets

Buying at Hillside Residence

All towers have been handed over, so purchases are resales. Listing data in 2026 put typical asking prices around VND 80 million per m², or roughly VND 2.2–12 billion per unit depending on size and view. Check the pink book, the management fee and any rental agreement attached to the unit.

Foreigners can buy in commercial apartment buildings within the usual limits of the 2023 Housing Law: up to 30% of the units in one building and ownership of up to 50 years, renewable once. Check that the foreign quota in the specific tower still has room before you pay a deposit.

Renting and holiday use

Phu Quoc is one of Vietnam’s busiest island destinations, and An Thoi has become a hub for shows and night life. Short-stay demand peaks from November to April. Returns depend on the operator, seasonality and competition from the large number of new units across the island.

Pros and cons

  • Pros: long-term ownership on an island where many products are term-based, completed buildings, views over Sunset Town and the sea
  • Cons: far from Duong Dong town, heavy reliance on tourism, many competing units in the area

Who Sun Grand City Hillside Residence suits

Hillside Residence suits buyers who want an island holiday home with long-term ownership, investors focused on tourist rentals, and people who plan to spend long periods on Phu Quoc.

Living on Phu Quoc

Phu Quoc is Vietnam’s largest island and a special administrative zone of An Giang province. Life revolves around tourism, with a long dry season from November to April and a quieter, wetter season afterwards.

The south of the island around An Thoi has changed fast, with the cable car, Sunset Town and new residential areas. Residents enjoy beaches and seafood but should expect higher prices for some goods brought from the mainland.
