Vung Tau Melody is a completed apartment complex by Hung Thinh Corp at 149 Vo Thi Sau Street, on the corner with Hoang Hoa Tham – the short road that links Front Beach and Back Beach in central Vung Tau. Built on a site of almost one hectare, it has two blocks with five floors of shops and services and 21 floors of apartments above, for a total of 840 units from about 49 to 108 m². The apartments have been handed over and many owners hold pink books. Since July 2025 Vung Tau is part of Ho Chi Minh City.

Quick facts

Location

Hoang Hoa Tham is the quickest route between the two beaches, so from here Back Beach and Thuy Van are about five minutes on foot and Front Beach a short ride. Vo Thi Sau park and Tran Hung Dao park are nearby, along with supermarkets, schools and plenty of local restaurants. It is a real residential neighbourhood rather than a resort strip.

Prices and buying

Listings in 2026 show one-bedroom units of about 50 m² around 2.6 billion VND, two-bedrooms of about 60 m² around 3.3 billion and three-bedroom units of 108 m² near 5.5 billion VND. Because the building is finished and titled, buying here is simpler than in off-plan projects: check the pink book, outstanding service fees and the condition of the unit.

Renting in Vung Tau

Vung Tau Melody works well for long-term tenants as well as holiday lets. A three-bedroom unit has been advertised at around 14 million VND a month, and smaller furnished flats are popular as weekend rentals with Saigon visitors. Many units already operate as homestays.

Pros and cons

• Pros: completed with pink books, walking distance to Back Beach, mixed residential neighbourhood, good choice of unit sizes
• Cons: older and plainer than new resort towers, no direct sea views from many units, busy street corner
