Nha Trang Center is a mixed-use complex at 20 Tran Phu Street, on Nha Trang’s main beachfront road. Developed by Hoan Cau Khanh Hoa Co. Ltd and Thanh Yen JSC and opened in 2011, it combines a shopping mall, a hotel and 143 serviced residences in two 20-storey towers whose sail-shaped design was drawn up by SWA. It was one of the first modern malls in the city and is still a landmark on Tran Phu.

What you get

The residences are large by Nha Trang standards, with corner units of 150 m² and more, and many have full or side sea views. Residents share the building’s facilities with hotel guests and have the mall on their doorstep.

Prices and buying

The developer launched the apartments at around USD 1,700 per m². Resale listings today are mostly for large sea-view units, and several advertise a pink book (ownership certificate). Ask for the certificate and check the management fee before you buy.

Renting and holiday use

Owners rent units both long-term and as holiday apartments. Expect a premium over newer towers further from the centre because of the location and the size of the units.

Pros and cons

  • Pros: prime beachfront address, large apartments, mall and restaurants downstairs, some units with ownership certificates
  • Cons: older building (2011), busy tourist strip, limited supply of units for sale

Who it suits

Buyers who want a big sea-view apartment in the middle of Nha Trang, and long-stay visitors who like having shops and restaurants downstairs.
