Sun Centro Town is Sun Group’s apartment complex at the centre of Sun Elite City, a 324-hectare leisure and urban development in Bai Chay, Ha Long. On about 1.2 hectares, three towers (C1, C2, C3) rise 30 floors and hold about 2,900 apartments, many looking straight over Ha Long Bay. The units are classed as tourist apartments: they are handed over furnished, with a term that runs to 2084, and handover is planned for 2027.

The towers sit in the middle of Sun Elite City, surrounded by the coastal road, the Sun Carnival festival square, Sun World and the night market streets. The Ha Long International Passenger Port is a few minutes away, and the Ha Long – Hanoi and Ha Long – Hai Phong expressways put the area within about two and a half hours of Hanoi.

Whether foreigners can buy a specific unit depends on the project’s approvals; ask the developer to confirm in writing.

Holiday letting and rental use

Bai Chay receives many domestic and international visitors, and occupancy in the area has been reported at around 78% in 2024 by Savills. Rental income will depend on operator fees, seasonality and how much competition there is from the many new units in Sun Elite City. Treat any promised yield as a projection, not a guarantee.

Living in Ha Long

Ha Long is the capital of Quang Ninh and the gateway to Ha Long Bay. Bai Chay, on the western side of the bay, is the tourist and entertainment district, while Hon Gai across the bridge is the administrative and residential centre.

Expressways link Ha Long with Hanoi, Hai Phong and Van Don airport. Living in Bai Chay means easy access to beaches, restaurants and night life, but also busy summers and holiday periods.
