Sky Garden Phu My Hung is one of the earliest and largest apartment communities in the Phu My Hung new urban area. Built by Phu My Hung Development Corporation in three phases along Nguyen Van Linh Boulevard, it has more than 40 mid-rise blocks and well over 3,000 homes on a site of about 10 hectares.

Its most recognisable feature is the raised deck on the second floor: a long concrete platform that links the blocks and is lined with shops, cafés and small offices, so residents can run errands without crossing roads. The design was recognised by the Vietnam Association of Architects in 2008.

Three phases, one neighbourhood

Sky Garden 1 sits right on Nguyen Van Linh and was the first to be built; its homes are mostly 71–91 m2 two-bedroom units. Sky Garden 2 sits in the middle, with Block 5 overlooking the tennis courts, pool and park. Sky Garden 3 is the largest phase and the most popular with renters, close to RMIT University and the Crescent Mall area.

Each phase has its own management, so fees and house rules can differ. When you compare listings, always note the phase and block (for example “SG3, block 12B”).

Location in Phu My Hung

Nguyen Van Linh connects west to District 8 and Binh Chanh and east to the Tan Thuan export processing zone and the Phu My bridge. Within Phu My Hung, international schools, FV and Tam Duc hospitals, and the Crescent Lake area are all a short drive or a bicycle ride away.

Tan Phong Ward became part of Tan Hung Ward in July 2025; title documents issued earlier show District 7 and Tan Phong.

Renting at Sky Garden

Furnished two- and three-bedroom apartments are common and usually cheaper than newer high-rises in Phu My Hung. Since the blocks are 15 to 20 years old, check the age of appliances and air-conditioners and ask the landlord to fix issues before you move in. Ask whether the rent includes the management fee and whether a motorbike or car slot is available.

Buying and resale checks

Most units have long-term ownership certificates. Ask for the pink book, check the names of all owners and look at the block’s maintenance history. Duplex and penthouse units vary a lot in layout and condition, so a site visit is essential.

Facilities

Residents share swimming pools, tennis courts, a park and children’s areas, plus the second-floor shopping deck with a supermarket and services. Ask each phase’s management office for access rules and fees.

Information is based on Phu My Hung project announcements reported by VnExpress and SGGP and on current project listings, checked on 1 November 2026. Confirm details for each unit.
