The Manor in Ho Chi Minh City is a Bitexco apartment complex at 91 Nguyen Huu Canh Street in Binh Thanh, now part of Thanh My Tay Ward. Built in a recognisable French neoclassical style, it was one of the first high-end condos on the Nguyen Huu Canh corridor, completed in 2007, long before Vinhomes Central Park and Saigon Pearl filled the riverbank.

The complex has two parts: The Manor 1, a residential phase, and The Manor 2, which mixes apartments and officetel units. Seven blocks of around 29 floors stand on about 1.36 hectares, linked by a skybridge, with three basement levels for parking. It is not the same project as The Manor Hanoi, which Bitexco built at the same time in Me Tri.

Location

The Manor sits at the District 1 end of Nguyen Huu Canh Street, roughly five minutes by car from Ton Duc Thang and the Saigon River waterfront. Vinhomes Central Park and Saigon Pearl are a short walk further along the road. Thao Dien and Thu Thiem are reached across the Saigon Bridge.

The main drawback is traffic: Nguyen Huu Canh is a busy artery and has suffered flooding at high tide, though drainage works have improved conditions in recent years.

Apartments

Layouts are generous compared with newer buildings, with many two- and three-bedroom units over 90 m². Interiors vary a lot as most have been renovated by individual owners, so viewing several units is worthwhile. Officetel units in The Manor 2 are popular with small businesses.

Renting and buying

Rents and resale prices are usually lower than at Vinhomes Central Park next door for a similar size, which makes The Manor good value for tenants who care more about space and location than new facilities.

  • Check whether the unit is an apartment or an officetel; residential use and registration rules differ.
  • Ask the building committee about recent lift and fire-system upgrades in an older building.
  • Confirm that the pink book is issued in the seller’s name.

Information comes from Bitexco publications, reporting in Sai Gon Giai Phong, VnExpress and Bao Dau Tu, project summaries on Guland and Thu Vien Phap Luat, and current listings, checked on 2 November 2026. Confirm details for each property.
