Amenities
Triton Crown is the newest luxury apartment project by Phu My Hung Development Corporation, launched for sale in October 2026. It sits on a rare four-frontage site of about 1.2 hectares beside Crescent Lake, in the commercial heart of Phu My Hung (now Tan My Ward, Ho Chi Minh City). Two towers of 16 and 18 storeys hold just 297 apartments, 28 shophouses and 4 mixed residential-commercial units, designed by US firm Handel Architects within a master plan by SOM. For a district where new land is almost gone, it is one of the most closely watched launches of the year.

Why Triton Crown matters
Phu My Hung has been the benchmark for planned urban living in Ho Chi Minh City for almost three decades: wide streets, mature trees, underground utilities and a large expat and Korean community. The catch is that the developer has very little land left to build on, and the plots around Crescent Lake are the most central of all. Triton Crown is part of what the developer calls its “2.0” phase – fewer, higher-quality projects in the core of the city centre rather than large estates on the fringe.
That scarcity, combined with a small number of units, is the main reason the launch drew so much attention. Buyers are not just choosing an apartment; they are buying into the last pieces of the Crescent Lake skyline.
Location: the centre of Phu My Hung
The site faces Crescent Lake and the pedestrian bridge that links Crescent Mall, the riverside promenade and the exhibition centre. Everything a resident needs is within walking distance:
- Crescent Mall, restaurants and cafés around the lake
- International and bilingual schools in Phu My Hung, plus FV Hospital and private clinics nearby
- Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) and the business district along Nguyen Luong Bang
- Nguyen Van Linh Boulevard for access to District 1, Thu Thiem and the western districts
The developer has also announced a pipeline of projects around the lake between 2026 and 2031, including a Tam Anh healthcare centre, the Phu My Hung Art Centre, a new retail complex, a five-star JW Marriott hotel and Grade A offices, along with upgrades to the Crescent Lake landscape and Nguyen Luong Bang Boulevard.
Design and building specification
Handel Architects has designed two mid-rise towers rather than a single high tower, keeping the scale in line with the low, green character of Phu My Hung. Elevated sky gardens break up the façades and give residents outdoor space above the street. The basement has been designed with drivers in mind: more than one parking space per apartment, a clear height of about 2.6 metres, a gentle 13-degree ramp, sensors and a positioning system, and infrastructure ready for electric-vehicle charging.
Apartments (excluding top-floor units and retail) are handed over with fitted finishes: a digital-lock entrance door, in-unit intercom, tiled and timber flooring and fully finished bathrooms, using mostly imported European materials and brands such as THG Paris, Duravit, SICIS and Giant.
Amenities
Instead of a long list of small facilities, Triton Crown concentrates about 1,200 m² of private amenities for residents:
- Swimming pool, gym, and studios for yoga, dance and Pilates
- Sauna with red-light therapy
- Library, meeting rooms and a left- and right-handed 3D golf simulator
- Private dining spaces and a community lounge
- Sky gardens and direct access to the open space around Crescent Lake
Sustainability
Both towers received EDGE Preliminary certification in July 2026. According to the developer, Tower A is projected to save about 34% energy and 28% water, and Tower B about 29% energy and 29% water, compared with a standard building – useful not only for the planet but for monthly utility bills.
Who is Triton Crown for?
- Entrepreneurs and senior executives who want a new home in the centre of Phu My Hung
- Families already living in the area who want to upgrade without leaving the neighbourhood
- Long-term investors who value scarcity and a strong developer track record
- Business owners interested in the 28 shophouses on the lakeside frontages
Buying at Triton Crown: what to check
At launch the developer released Tower A first. The official price list was not published in the media at the time of writing, so ask the developer’s sales gallery (Lot M3, Tran Van Tra Street) for the current price list, payment schedule and handover timeline. Before you sign:
- Request the documents confirming the project is eligible to sell future homes.
- Compare views: lake-facing units and corner units will carry a premium.
- Ask exactly what is included in the handover standard for your unit type.
- Check the management fee and parking arrangements.
- If you are a foreign buyer, confirm the foreign ownership quota.
Triton Crown vs. other Phu My Hung projects
Older Phu My Hung developments around the lake and along Nguyen Van Linh offer larger supply and lower entry prices on the resale market, but Triton Crown is the only brand-new project at this location with modern specifications, EDGE certification and the developer’s latest design approach. If you prefer the east of the city instead, compare it with riverside projects such as The Metropole Thu Thiem or the new Eaton Park on Mai Chi Tho Boulevard.
Living by Crescent Lake
Crescent Lake is the social centre of Phu My Hung. In the early morning it belongs to joggers and tai chi groups; at the weekend families gather on the lawns, children ride bikes over the Starlight Bridge and the restaurants along the water fill up. Living on the lake means that daily routines – coffee, groceries, a walk after dinner – happen on foot, in one of the few parts of Ho Chi Minh City where pavements are wide and shaded.
The trade-off is that the lake is popular. Evenings and holidays bring visitors and events, so if you value quiet, ask about units facing the inner streets rather than the busiest side of the lake.
