Dalat Center is a mixed-use complex built by Len Nguyen JSC on Area C of the Da Lat market, on Phan Boi Chau Street in the very centre of town. The plot is about 5,032 m² and the building rises 14 floors, with a total investment of around 1,000 billion VND. It combines a three-storey market hall, two parking floors, a convention and wedding centre, the 125-room Dalat Center Hotel and a block of apartments from about 35 to 92 m². Xuan Huong Lake is about 400 metres away and the night market is right on the doorstep. The complex has been completed and handed over.

Location

You cannot get more central in Da Lat. The market, the night market on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai and the Hoa Binh area are all around the building, Xuan Huong Lake is a five-minute walk and the administrative centre is about 1 km away. Lien Khuong airport is around 30 minutes by car. The flip side is traffic and crowds, especially at weekends and on public holidays.

Sellers advertise individual certificates. Ask for the certificate itself, check the land-use term, and look at service fees, which run higher in buildings with a hotel and market attached.

Renting in Da Lat

Central apartments are popular with domestic tourists for short stays and with remote workers and retirees who come for the cool climate. Owners of furnished units report strong demand at weekends and in the Tet and summer holidays. Long-term tenants are fewer but tend to stay.

• Pros: right above the market and night market, walk to Xuan Huong Lake, completed with certificates
• Cons: busy and noisy at weekends, limited parking for residents at peak times, few large family units
