Who is behind The Gió Riverside

An Gia Group (HOSE: AGG) has delivered The Standard, Westgate and Sky 89 in Ho Chi Minh City. The Gió Riverside is its biggest project of recent years; the company received the land-use right certificate after completing its financial obligations in early 2025.

Location: Dong Nai river and the Tan Van junction

The site is close to the Tan Van junction, where Hanoi Highway, National Road 1A and Ring Road 3 meet, with the Dong Nai river alongside. Metro Line 1’s Suoi Tien terminal and the Thu Duc area are within a short drive.

The location links Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong and Dong Nai, which suits people working in industrial parks across all three areas. The trade-off is heavy truck traffic around Tan Van at peak times.

Master plan and amenities

An Gia markets the project as an “all-in-one” riverside compound with plenty of open space around the towers:

  • River views on three sides
  • Resort-style swimming pools
  • Landscaped park and walking paths
  • Gym and residents’ clubhouse
  • Children’s play areas
  • Shophouses at street level

Apartment types

The mix starts with studios of about 41 m² (around 8% of supply) and goes up to one-, two- and three-bedroom units of about 65–95 m². The final tower to be released, Gió Đông, was designed to maximise river views.

Prices and buying

An Gia has used flexible payment plans and bank support to keep the project within reach of first-time buyers. Prices depend heavily on tower, floor and river view, so compare specific units rather than averages.

As handover is in 2027, ask for the bank guarantee covering payments made before handover.

The project has its 1/500 detailed plan, land allocation and construction permit, and in March 2025 received the land-use right certificate. Vietnamese buyers receive long-term ownership; foreigners can own for 50 years within the quota.

Renting at The Gió Riverside

The main renters are expected to be staff from nearby industrial parks, universities and businesses around Thu Duc and Di An. Studios and one-bedroom units should be the easiest to let.
