Lumière Midtown is the second high-rise phase of The Global City and the first project from Masterise Homes’ upmarket LUMIÈRE series inside the township. It occupies lot CT7 on Lien Phuong Street, right in the middle of the 117-hectare development, and consists of two 27-storey towers with about 808 homes on a 14,192 m² plot. Sales opened at the end of May 2025 and handover is planned for 2027. The architecture borrows from New York residential towers, and the product range goes all the way up to duplexes and penthouse duplexes on the top floors.

Who is behind Lumière Midtown

Masterise Homes developed LUMIÈRE riverside in Thao Dien and LUMIÈRE Boulevard in Vinhomes Grand Park, and the LUMIÈRE label is reserved for its more design-led, higher-spec buildings. Lumière Midtown follows Masteri Grand View, the first tower pair in The Global City, and is part of a township master-planned by Foster + Partners.

Location: the middle of The Global City

Lien Phuong runs through the centre of The Global City, opposite the planned 123,000 m² shopping mall, the canal with its music fountain and the township’s international school plots. The east side of the township is bounded by Do Xuan Hop, the north by the Rach Chiec river.

From here it is a short drive to the An Phu interchange and the Long Thanh – Dau Giay expressway, and about 15–20 minutes to the old District 1 outside peak hours. Rach Chiec and An Phu stations on Metro Line 1 are the nearest rail links.

Master plan and amenities

Masterise talks about three layers of amenities: those inside the towers, the shops and cafes at street level, and the wider township within a fifteen-minute walk. Inside the project you can expect:

  • Infinity-edge swimming pool
  • Gym, yoga room and wellness centre with spa and sauna
  • Private mini cinema
  • Co-working space and lounges
  • Children’s play areas
  • Walkable access to the canal, park and Lumière Mall

Apartment types

Most units are one to three bedrooms aimed at owner-occupiers, with a small collection of duplexes, penthouses and penthouse duplexes on the highest floors of both towers. Exact sizes vary by stack; ask for the floor plan of the specific unit rather than relying on typical-floor brochures.

Prices and buying

Lumière Midtown is priced above Masteri Grand View because of its central position and higher specification. Primary prices quoted by agents in 2025–2026 sit in the luxury bracket for east Ho Chi Minh City, and the developer has offered staged payment plans and bank support to spread the cost until 2027.

If you are buying a resale contract, confirm the remaining payment schedule, any discount you would lose on transfer and the transfer fee charged by the developer.

The project is commercial housing, so Vietnamese owners receive a long-term certificate after handover, while foreigners can buy within the 30% per-building quota for a 50-year renewable term. Ask for written confirmation of the quota before paying a deposit.

Renting at Lumière Midtown

The central position inside The Global City should make Lumière Midtown one of the stronger rental addresses in the township once it is complete, particularly for expatriate families attracted by the planned schools and the mall. Expect competition from the many other towers handing over in the same few years.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Central plot opposite the mall, canal and school sites
  • Higher-spec LUMIÈRE product with wellness and co-working facilities
  • Strong developer with several completed projects nearby
  • Duplex and penthouse options are rare in the area

Cons

  • Handover is still some way off (2027)
  • High price per m² compared with established neighbourhoods
  • Township facilities will open gradually

Who it suits

Lumière Midtown suits buyers who want a premium apartment in a new, planned district and are happy to wait until 2027, as well as investors betting on The Global City becoming a second downtown for the east side.
